Nick’s Barnyard Buddies is a truly one of a kind custom built petting zoo trailer. The trailer is 28ft in length and completely self-contained. We bring our own water and power source. We have lights inside the trailer for events that run after dark. Because the animals stay on this unique custom trailer, there will be no animal mess at your event. This trailer provides a safer cleaner environment for both animals and people. The children won’t be tracking through manure like other petting zoos.
Our animals love the attention they get from all the nice folks who visit with them but sometimes need a break. By not letting children in with them, the animals can get a break if needed. Animal welfare, cleanliness, and the safety are our top priority. We pride ourselves in happy, healthy and well-socialized animals.
Nicks Barnyard Buddies is an educational and entertaining animal experience. These days most people are many generations removed from agriculture and the farm. A lot of children don’t know the difference between a pig and a goat, or the many different shapes and colors the come in. How many children or even adults have ever seen a breed of sheep with 4 horns?? We have one, it’s called a 4-horn Jacobs Sheep. How many children or even adults know that a cow has a tongue that feels like sandpaper!! Why does a goat have weird looking eyes?? Have you ever heard a rooster crow other than on tv?? What does a sheep smell like?? We will answer all these questions and more!!
At our petting zoo not only will we educate, entertain and answer all your questions, but children will get a chance to use all their senses in a way they never have before. What better way for a child to learn to love and respect animals but to see and touch them in person. They may even learn a little about the farm and where their food comes from as well.
